YOU ARE A STAR
BUT NOT THE BRIGHTES
T ONE

Once upon a time, I took pride in Hong Kong, especially whilst gazing upon the harbour before departing for my studies abroad. However, my return in 2019 was marred by confusion and frustration. The striking lights radiating from the buildings, a testament to the diligence of the Hong Kong populace, seemed to silently whisper tales of power, hierarchy, and exploitation. We, the everyday folk of Hong Kong, are akin to the twinkling stars mirrored in the harbour's waters.
