Artist Bio

Jason, Chung Yin Lam is a Hong Kong-based artist. He completed his postgraduate degree in fine arts from Central Saint Martin College of Art, UAL, in 2019. He has curated and participated in various exhibitions, including the group exhibition "Distances in Three" in 2021 and his solo exhibition "Tonight the Blink Blink Sky" in 2023.

Returning to Hong Kong during a period of significant change, Lam realized that his art must mirror the world's realities. Consequently, he developed a series of blurry and coarse visual styles to reflect his disappointment with reality. Lately, his artworks have focused on expressing his concerns about international conflicts, wars, and ideological shifts in his hometown, using a variety of materials and forms.
