JASON CHUNG-YIN LAM
Artist Bio
Jason, Chung Yin Lam is an artist based in Hong Kong. In 2019, he graduated with a postgraduate degree in fine art from Central Saint Martin College of Art, UAL. Throughout his journey, he has curated and participated in various exhibitions. These include a granted group exhibition "Distances in Three" in 2021, and a solo exhibition "Tonight the Blink Blink Sky" in 2023. His studio is located at the Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre in Hong Kong.
Returning to Hong Kong during a time of significant change, Lam became acutely aware of how art reflects the realities of the world. As a result, he developed a series of blurry and coarse visual styles to convey his disappointment that the pursuit of truth is often not a priority in reality. Recently, his art practices have focused on expressing his concerns about international conflicts, wars, and ideological shifts happening in his hometown, using different materials and forms.
